I tried some of those same things, but learned that many metallics do not like sealant at all. it is like they become frosted sticky accessories. I know that some of my works will meet up with yours in that big graveyard in the sky. thanks again.

truly means a lot, thanks. I had to have a chrome silver surfer, that is how he should look. even reflects elements around him.

thanks, I sprayed the figure with the chrome car spray paint on days with no rain in sight. then it was a flash rain, so had to start over multiple times. and each time watched the weather after I stripped it down to fix the flaws and each time it did it again. and finally on the last time I painted it and caught it before the rain came again. it just seemed the weather had it out for him. but sealers and more minor sprays I have a vented room, but this spray is particularly harsh. all other paints are inside.
