Why do so many of us love the shirtless Wolvie? I don't know. But I do know that I wouldn't be happy without one. I wanted several things out of this figure: I wanted him to be shorter than the average Showdown and Microman figure, I wanted removable claws, and I wanted him to look goood. Mission accomplished!
I used the lower half of Microman Batman Begins figure, which joined with the upper half of Ramen Man, gave me a much shorter figure and, really, a nice base to build on. I then burrowed a hole into the head of an Ultimate Wolverine figurine, popped it on, refigured the hands of Microman Warsman, and combined the Wolverine figurine claws with Warsman removable set. After painting and modifying some of the details, this lil' guy was ready for a brawl.
By the way, I couldn't decide if I wanted a shirtless New X-Men Wolverine, or a shirtless Ultimate Wolverine, so I just combined the two. That basically just makes him a New X-Men Wolverine with a goatee. :)
