This was one of those customs which I thought I could pull off relatively quick with a few swapped parts. Not the case...at all. Unfortunately the MU Apoc was of course just a little too small to be combined with the Nanosuit. So that meant I had a lot of sculpting work to do, lol. I've had this guy sitting around mainly waiting to be painted since around September of last year. After I did all the sculpting I just put him in a baggie waiting for a chance to get him done. And so finally I had a chance to work on him so here he is. This isn't really any particular version but it was influenced a good bit by the MU Apoc.

Head: Savage Dragon with sculpt
Hands: MU Apocalypse
Body: Nanosuit with various fodder, sculpt, & tweaks
Lower Legs: XMC Beast with lots of sculpt
Boots: Omega Red with sculpt
Extra Hands/Accessories: Lego hoses, TF parts, and various other fodder & weapons laying around
Everything else was done with fodder and/or sculpt

Dear Lord, I can't believe I missed this marvelous figure. Truly breathtaking man. Apocalypse is my all time favorite Marvel Villain and this is the best custom of him I have ever seen. I assume this is an original take on him, and you did an extremely good job tackling it. Stellar work as always on the parts blending and paintjob.

Wow, I hated myself for not grabbing this base but this custom makes me want to hit myself and leave customizing for making this huge mistake. This is such a perfect blend of comic and originality. The interchangeable parts are perfect and the paint is even better. I applaud you good sir.

Don't leave customizing! I know exactly how you feel about passing up certain base figures, actually I'm sure we've all felt the same way after doing something similar. You look at a figure and just know there is something to do with it, but against your better judgement you pass it up. Then you leave and later it hits you what you could've done with it . Yeah I think we've all done that at one point, lol.
