Unlike his 616 counterpart, T'Challa of the Ultimate Universe failed in his trials to take the throne of Wakanda. Instead, he suffered brutal injuries and had his throat ripped out by a panther. He was sent to the United States for cutting edge medical treatments unavailable in his homeland, but was kidnapped by the Weapon X program. His life was saved, but he was turned into a mute living weapon with enhanced strength, speed, senses, and razor sharp knuckle claws. Taken in by Captain America when the Weapon X program was shut down, he eventually earned his way onto the Ultimates.
I swapped out some portions of Black Panther's costume that were stylized and replaced them with boots/gloves from Sentry, then added a belt. Repainted the whole thing since it had those weird purple highlights. Gave him some gray highlights instead that worked a lot better for me. Not really sure what I made the knuckle claws out of now since I made this quite awhile ago.
