SNOW Day!!!! Got the day off due to a bad snow storm....so here is Solar, Man of the Atom. DCU Hal Jordan (big clearance at Toys R Us on GL DCU), ML Cyclops head, shaved down some of the visor and the ear covers. The radioactive logo was a pain in the @$$ after about 6 attemps at painting it, I opted for a decal... Painted with a black base coat and then burgundy red and a primary red dry brush. (pics kinda hide the paint apps...)anywhooo...thanks for looking

Nice, nice paint job. Colors look like he stepped off the page. But how did you get the scales on Magnus? I've been avoiding him until I came up with a way to do it.

The torso is a DCU Aquaman/Copperhead, so the scales were already there. I used fixit on the skirt and used parts of Aquaman's arms to embed the scales into the clay. Kind of a reverse mold...thanks for looking man!
