Mr. Freeze Custom Action Figure

Custom #:37263
Name:Mr. Freeze
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:DC Universe
Creator:Heroes Assembled Customs
Date Added:March 1, 2012
Base Figure:Various (see formula)
Height:6.00 inches
"This is how I will always remember you. Surrounded by winter. Forever young. Forever beautiful. Rest well my love. The monster who took you from me will soon learn that revenge is a dish best served cold."

This is a custom of Dr. Victor Fries, aka the notorious Mister Freeze!

I originally wanted to use this formula for the Winter contest, but didn't have the time. When the Vile Volitions contest came up, I was thankful for the second chance.

I've wanted to make a Mister Freeze ever since I saw the Naut Kei Loi GL CLassics figure on the shelves. I wanted to mix the smooth style of the DCUC buck with a gritty, almost steampunk look from some of the McFarlane figures I had laying around. I thought this clunky Freeze-pack and huge Freeze cannon would be a little closer to what a Mad Scientist on the run would make, with the limited resources he'd have at his disposal.

Helmet is removable, and Freeze cannon can clip onto the backpack for storage.

Here's the formula:

Head: Deadman
Torso: Naut Kei Loi
Upper Arms: Deadman
Lower Arms & Lower Legs: Omac
Shoulder Pads: Jakks Wrestler elbow pads
Belts: Spawn Clown III
Backpack: McFarlane Ultima and Frankenstein figures
Hoses: Ghost in the Shell and Ultima figures
Freeze 'Cannon': Matrix 'bug sucker outer' tool (lol..)
'Freeze Ray': Twist ties and hot glue, paint.

All paints are citadel, with a nice layer of dull cote to seal.
