A lot of time. I pretty much put another coat of the same paint in different areas on him that wanted shadowing. The magenta was the easy part. Under the metallic blue I painted royal blue and then white over it and then alunimin. I got the shine I wanted and then went w a thin coat of metallic blue to get that gambit blue. Glad u like it.
