This might not count as a custom so much as a wardrobe change, but I thought it looked so cool that I should share the idea. I simply took off the rubbery jacket from the legendary riders Logan variant (regular clothes as opposed to Days of Future Past) and put it on the Astonishing Wolverine from the Apocalypse series. Several times in the comics, Wolverine has worn his costume regularly with a jacket over it. For some reason, I've always thought it's funny to see characters in full costume standing around Avengers Mansion or the Xavier school doing very mundane things, so it's also a tribute to that imagery.
