Special Thanks to CosmicFantasycustoms on this one for the Grizzlor Staction. Also Thanks to everyone who's been watching this guys progress in the workstation, you guys really egged me on to get this dude done. Really enjoyed working on him and the real fur was a new challenge for me, I was surprised at how easy it was. So without further ado, here's the recipe.

Recipe:
Base = Spider man classics sandman

Head = 200x Grizzlor Staction, dremmeled down the stump to fit properly. I left plenty of clearance to the neck so he has slight side to side movement on his head

Upper arms = smc sandman, sanded down the shoulders and sculpted the fur on them as well as the arms.

Lower arms = 200x Grizzlor Staction, modded to fit the sandman arms

Upper legs, knees and part of lower = SMC sandman, sculpted all the fur

Part of lower legs and boots = ML Bishop, grafted the cut joint onto the sandman legs and sculpted fur and boot cuffs

Fur = 200x Grizzlor staction, given a hair cut to make him a little less furry.

Loin and Chest piece = 200x grizzlor staction, had to mod the belt a little using foamy, I'll probably revisit this at some point but it's barely visible so it does for now

Crossbow and backpack = 200x Grizzlor staction, slight repaint

Paints = GW and GW Satin sealer

Really need to get back to a secret project now who's been on the back burner for ooooo soooo long. I have so many left to do but I will not stop until "the collection" is complete. Thanks for looking dudes, hope you like.

P.S Can't decide if I like him better with smoothed back hair or the rough and shaggy look, guess I'll change it according to my mood on the day :-D.

yami's comment is hilarious. but bud you turned this into a true masterpiece along with the rest of your collection. I see nothing wrong with it about the belt, you knock everything out the galaxy, so it truly epic. I do like bakegirl's comment, may use that on some things I have planned. but keep up the epic work darth always inspiring and when I can get some of my projects finished I want to finish my motu collection also. until then your work is feeding my need.

Cheers dude, thought you'd disappeared for a while then . I prolly will follow bakegirls idea just as soon as I get some o them fancy hairdressing scissors.
Cosmic Fantasy Customs - Wednesday, March 28, 2012

Darththomas - Saturday, March 24, 2012
Cheers dude, my only regret is not taking MORE pictures of the process
Bakegirl - Monday, March 19, 2012
Freakin AWESOME! Great lookin' Grizzlor! For the hair, you might try a "point-cut" technique. That's where you take the points of your scissors and cut into the tips of the hair, breaking it up a bit and giving a more natural wisp to the ends. Just an old hairdresser trick I picked up back in beauty school
Darththomas - Saturday, March 24, 2012
Hey thanks for the tip, I gotta get me some of them proper hairdressing scissors, I don't think the ones I used (ordinary kitchen scissors ) are up to the job. I did purposefully leave the hair a little longer than I intended just in case I ever found out how to do proper wispy bits, now I have found out so ta very much

THIS IS THE EFFING BEST GRIZZLOR.... Much BETTER than the MOTUC version Mattel made. Can 't wait to see what's next!
Darththomas - Saturday, March 24, 2012
Thanks bud, I think the 200x face gives a whole lot more than the MOTUC one, I mean it's really not that far different than the vintage face. It's looking like Man-E-Faces is gonna be next out of the blocks.

You do know this guy looks awesome, right?
Darththomas - Saturday, March 24, 2012
Well I don't wanna blow my own horn but ................. Haha no really I like him a lot but I'm thinking a bit more of a hair trim after the advice given by bakegirl. I just don't wanna go too far.
