Custom #:3782
Name:Kratos
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:God of War
Creator:rateeg
Date Added:August 28, 2007
Base Figure:FO Sabertooth
Height:7.00 inches
I have to admit I am not quite familiar with this character that I'm doin now, cause I am no longer a video game freak. haha! it's a commish project for someone who doesn't log in on toy forums.

a spartan with a lot of bad bum kickin' attitude based on the video game.
being the son of zeus and a mortal woman, he has the powers of a demi-god which are vast superhuman strength and durability comparable to the hulk or the mighty thor of the marvel comics.

I'm using a face off sabertooth body, and a bullseye head. I know the bullseye head is small for the body but ill modify this and make it look proportioned.
a lot of sandings was done on the FO sabertooth body.

thanks for the comment.
I have seen that neca blade of chaos...
and it's a short sword that extends with a chain.
since I'm doing this without using any NECA Kratos parts and accessories, the sword I made represents the sword of chaos with out the chains, extends long enough to replace the short sword.
Don't get me wrong, the sword looks cool... it's just not a blade of chaos. It looks more like a +5 Flaming Scimitar, which while cool, isn't what Kratos had. I know these are based off the accessories that came with the original Kratos figs, so that's on the manufacturer. The blades of chaos are as the picture above shows, a pair of short, jagged and -very- thick shortswords... almost giant daggers. I haven't seen a Kratos custom yet that had what I would consider a blade of chaos. That's the other thing, too. I dunno why, but every Kratos custom I've seen has had only one blade instead of two.
You did a superb job on this figure, Rateeg. The sword is the only flaw, and that's just in my opinion.
If this is just your own original take on things, then my apologies and well done.
nah, I love comments like this. so I know where to improve on.
and yes, the sword was made by my own representation.
thanks!

I should be ashamed to be asking this seeing as I'm currently playing GOW2, but why isn't that a blade of chaos? 'Cause it's not attached to the chain? Not big enough? Either way it kicks major @$$! Guys have been submitting Kratos USING Kratos' parts(I have no beef with those who have btw) But this work is more original and that's why It stands out 4 me.
