I'm not much of a fan of the BAF figure myself. I think he was both too big and softly sculpted. between those two things and the lack of ankle tilts, there just wasn't enough finesse work to make me appreciate it to the point whereas I could overlook his shortcomings either. he's always been disappointing to me. it just disgusted me and made me want to salvage what I could of it and rework the whole damned thing. and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot more people that hadn't yet expressed themselves felt the same way, given how many ARES customs appeared even after his arrival.
anyway, as you probably already know, I'm pretty friggin particular about anatomy and figures, so I'll just tell you right now that yours here IS better. you needn't try to justify anything. again it's a perfect example of companies not being able to comprehend that fans would often prefer that they just do something this well - this accurately. its not about being bigger and getting more plastic.

and you know what else, a lot of these new Thors are too big too, if we're being honest. they screw up the scale on everything else.

You got the scale you wanted, but the added value was the realism and pure beef from the wwe figures. This looks wicked, and accessories work perfectly!
