I'd never heard of this version of Kato before I started on this custom - it's based on the Dynamite Comics Green Hornet series by Kevin Smith.
Base was DCUC Star Sapphire, with ML Wasp arms and feet and SOTA Cammy hands. Lower part of the jacket is rubber sheet, everything else is sculpted. Added swivel/rocker joints in the feet to help with the kung-fu poses, although the coat restricts the hips quite a bit...

It's a very thin, heavy duty industrial rubber - I found it on a popular website beginning with "E" that I don't seem to be allowed to mention, it was fairly cheap for a 1' x 1' sheet. Very strong (doesn't have a lot of give to it), very flexible. I'll be using it again in the future...
