This version of the Elder Predator (from Predator 2) is from the comic "Predator 1718" from Dark Horse. In the comic, he observes a pirate captain involved in a mutiny from his crew, helps the captain fight the crew off, and as the captain and Predator prepare to face off one on one, the captain is shot in the back by a crew member hidden behind the bushes. The Predator then blows him away, and a dying captain hands the Predator the infamous "Raphael Andolini 1715" pistol seen at the end of Predator 2. In return, the Predator gives his retractable sword to the dying captain, each of them telling the other to "Take It"
Brief Bio I wrote up :
1718 -- A Predator silently watches a Pirate Captain and his crew engage in conflict about a stolen church artifact. The Captain wants it returned, the crew doesnt, and this causes a mutiny. As the Predator watches, he becomes part of the fight, joining the captain and fending off the crew. As the captain and the predator turn to fight, the captain is shot in the back by a hidden crew member. After the predator kills the crewman, the captain and predator exchange weapons, telling one another to "Take it." As the captain dies, the predator leaves earth to return later... as the Elder of the Lost Clan !
The base figure is a NECA Elder Predator, with a City Hunter head to resemble the helmet he wore in the comic. I also made the retractable sword from parts from the pistol that comes with the figure, and included a second maskless head.
And its Comic-Cannon accurate?
nicely done...
