This particular Oni is based on Illustrations from the children's story "The Funny Little Woman"by Arlene Mosel(based on a Japanese Folktale).I sculpted his head from Air-dry clay.His body is a Castaway toys light blue body which I sculpted over with airdry clay(all his oni bodily features).I painted the entire figure with acrylic paints and sealed with Mod-poge adhesive sealant.I made his straw-grass skirt from jute twine.
