The Winter Guard is a team of Russian superheroes in the Marvel comics universe. Noted of late for being heroic enough to be considered Russia's answer to the Avengers they formerly operated as the Soviet Super Soldiers and had much more of an adversarial role to the other costumed superheroes. Red Guardian is the leader of the team and while many have assumed the mantle over the years it has recently be assumed by the man formerly known as Vanguard. A mutant with the power of being able to reflect energy at his attackers!
I'll take any of the Super-Ruskies I can get - especially these guys, and if you have Lokoboy praising you with all of his masterful Dynamo, Titanium Man and armor creations, then you're definitely in good company.
