Hi. Can I ask how you got the guns and holster? I have some luck sculpting with Fix-it sculpt but the weapons at this seven inch scale I am at a loss at where you got them. She does look very much like Scarlet from the movie. Nicely done. You have inspired me to try as well.

Hi!, of course you can! the guns are made of "resin" which are sold here in Mexico, the sleeves are wide black rubber bands, which I just cut and paste giving shape to the straps and the holsters just bend the rubber band, I'm sure that your figure will be incredible! if you need more tips gladly will help.

Thank you. I would not have thought of that. I will definitely get some black rubber bands. Do you have a supplier where I might be able to also get a couple of guns? Also did you resculpt the original Widow hair or is this a total remove and resculpt? It looks great and I was really surprised at how well she favors the actress.
Marcorrosion - Thursday, July 5, 2012
I get them by "mercadolibre" which is something like http://www.ebay.com in Mexico, as the hair is the hair of a Spiderwoman of toybiz, I just cut it

Thank you very much for your time and help. I hope mine can even look half as good as yours. Jobiwan2

Freakin love it! I ordered my own MS Black Widow to do this too! But my biggest question is how you did the hair?
Marcorrosion - Friday, June 22, 2012
I'm glad that make your own figure! the hair is from marvel legends spider woman.
OneEpicAssassin - Friday, June 22, 2012
Awesome! Thanks! Another question, what paints did you use?

This is a great figure sir!! Any tips on how to make straps?? I tried making gun holsters but they are difficult to make...
Marcorrosion - Tuesday, June 12, 2012
Thanks for your comment, is easy if you have the right material, can you do it with straps of leather only folding into triangles, these are made with a rubber band to tie the cord of a nokia phone.

Tempted to do the same with mine. It cost me a fair bit though as the Disney exclusives weren't here in the UK. so a little concerned with messing mine up especially as I'm new to customising (beyond simple head and accessory swaps).
Marcorrosion - Wednesday, May 16, 2012
I understand the fear that it gives you to customize a figure that at the moment is hard to get in UK, but do not worry it really is not much, is a matter of mixing the right colors, finding the perfect belts and how to create de guns bags, the hair is from a Marvel Legends spider woman, just cut and paint the hair and the suits to make it accurate if you have any doubts gladly help you, greetings
(sorry for my bad, bad, bad english )

Nice work. I had to look up the original figure, and your facial repaint/resculpt did wonders for this figure's likeness.
