Well first of all: I would have loved to throw this one in the "sidekicks 2 contest", but who would´ve believed that Joker is the sidekick of Harley Quinn?!? ;-)

Oh well then, I always loved the design of the Harley Quinn outfit and thought it might be cool to give her boss a slightly different look than usual. Just imagine Joker would have escaped from Arkham Asylum and as he arrives at the secret hideout Harley Quin "organised" some new clothes for her big love ... matchin in colours to her own outfit!

Don´t blame my for that background story ... Harley Quinn is the lovesick lunatic here :-D !
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

So I took a Sotas Remy body and gave him a black and red paintjob with shading all the red parts to not make them apear to bright. He has interchangeabel hands to make fighting fists or hold his gun, card deck or knive.

The tuxedo-west he is wearing is from ML Dracula, which fits perfect.

The head was a repainted creeper ... as he could be the twin brother of the Joker!

His bang - gun was actually a little more difficult to do as it looks like:
Took a gun from ... hmmm lets say Punisher, cut of the front and sulpted it new as I sculpted the handle. Cut the plastic part of a Q-Tip and fixed it to the front. Used a toothpick for the arrow and glued a slip of paper to it. Painted everything. The arrow is removable!

Give him a sulpted flower, and .... done!

Made fotos with Harley Quinn as reference for hight and colours ... and because they look fab togehter ;-) !

Some parts of the Sota figures are a pain in the #### to paint, thats why I had to do a washing with paintremover to the sleeves of the trousers for example, in order to make the paint hold to it afterwards. Learned a lot about the materials doing this one.
It´s a big learning process to do customs by try & error ... that´s what I realised now!
But anyhow it was a lot fun to do

Great use of parts, and a fresh take on a joker custom, because there tends to be a lot of them. (they hang out with the deadpool's and tell jokes to eachother to pass the time)
This turned out excellent!

Wow pulpyfiction, these kind words from a customizer like you means a lot to me!
I love all Your stuff and especially Your Lou Feringo Style Hulk, it´s epic!

It´s true what You say, there´s a flood of Deadpools and Jokers, but they were allways expensive & rare original figures to buy, so everyone has to make one ... right ;-)?

But originality comes with letting Your fantasy take control, so I could suggest to make a Joker-Pool for all You realmers to give You an inspiration (trust me it´s not been done yet) Well to my custom You´ll have at least the right colours for that allready!

Wallcrawler Customs - Monday, June 4, 2012
Ooohhh WOW, that´s a tough call ... well purple is one colour, but which other colour I´ll have to use to give her the "split colour effect" that she has? Oohhh noooo wait a minute ... You don´t want me to make her with a tuxedo?!?

I really like the Joker in these colors, and it jives with the colorscheme of Jokers in playing card decks much more than the purple getup that's been in action since the '60s. Great job.
Wallcrawler Customs - Monday, June 4, 2012
Exactly ... purple is overrated!
