Hello all!

So I got the urge to make the Amazing Spiderman. I had the Creeper figure and notice he was double-jointed elbows and knees, and thought that would be perfect. I had to cut and shave off parts and had to sculpt over the head. Those furry parts gave me all kinds of trouble, and at the end of it all is still restricted the joints more than Ithought after the trimming.

BUT...he still looks alright I think. It is hard from the pictures I have to see, but it looks like the spider web lines on his suit aren't colored, they are textured, and that is difficult to paint-for me at least. So I painted them in a watered black and then dry-brushed red over them to dull them out. The spider on his chest is sculpted, but the legs on it are just painted. Belt is cut pieces of Sinister's cape, and the web-shooters on his wrists are cut pieces of Pyro's Back pack hose.

Critique away!!
- Fitz

I actually like how it looks like a comic book version of the movie suit! one thing though, maybe make the eyes closer and make the utility belt pouches a lil bigger, but great job bro

Beautiful job!!!!! The hasbro figure is nice for a 3.75 inch figure but we need a larger scale movie Spidey 'cause the Marvel Select one looks way too bulky. Your Amazing Spider-man is The One.

There is a 6" Hasbro one, along with the Ultimate Spider-Man and 6" movie Lizard.

Hey Fitz, the paint is really great and it's a great use of that Creeper body. The main thing is the texture that's such an important part of the new suit, which the Creeper body doesn't have. It would be almost impossible to create that texture on a figure that doesn't already have it. Still, far better than I could ever do.

I think that if we could put a thin enough layer of sculpt on the base figure, we could textureize it. The trick is to not have the sculpt be too bulky.

awesome figure, Fitz! You could also, take a dremel and make the texture with one of the fine point attachments. Then sand it. It may not look perfect, but it should give it a texture when you drybrush over it. Just a thought.
