Ever since the notion of a hybrid was introduced into the Alien species, there has been so many awesome looking variations made. From resin model kits, to garage kits, custom figures, and even keychain heads made as well! Basically, any form of alteration to improve upon its monstrous nature is worth a gander!
Using the top portion of a Kenner Alien Queen head, sculpted it on to the MIB Edgar figure, with work done on the jaws and neck area. The crown spikes were made from a Carnage figure accessory. On the Edgar fig., the stomach portion had an opening, like a kangaroo pouch, so it was perfect to have one of them chestbursters coming out. The idea was that this Alien hybrid did not lay eggs like the original Queen, but bore them like a mammal, fully developed and matured. It retains all original articulation and was hand painted in acrylic, with a semi-gloss finish. Originally painted silver with dark grey, this Queen was later revised to an ivory base color. The result produced a more organic feel to the creature and an albino-colored Alien is rarer to behold. Shown here with a custom drone.
