I finally completed the dynamic prehistoric duo... Devil Dinosaur and Moon-Boy!
I did Devil Dinosaur over a year ago... maybe close to two, and I had always planned on making Moon-Boy but I just never got around to it. I got inspired when I saw some Lord of the Rings figures on sale for $2 a piece. I picked up a few Hobbits (my next two customs are Hobbit based as well).
Moon-Boy here is made from a Super-Poseable Frodo with hair from a 2-Pack Wolverine. I shaved down Frodo's body and then sculpted all the fur with Apoxie Sculpt. I'm really happy with how he turned out. I think the fur on the arms looks better than the torso, but overall I am happy with him. He's retained most of the articulation, but the range of motion is a tad limited due to the extra fur.
