I know, I know, the resemblance is not uncanny, some would say he looks more like jeff bridges on his lebowski role, LOL. But, truth is, this is a very special custom for me. Pearl jam is my all-time favorite band, and Mr Vedder is of course, my favorite singer, songwriter. His lyrics are always touching to me, ever since I was a kid, the little "Jeremy" in me felt identified,and that happened with several songs in each new album, until "just breath" or " amongst the waves" from the latter album, "backspacer". I feel I grown up at the compass of vedder´s lyrics. As the lyrics evolved and matured in their thematic, so did I.
This is my tribute in plastic form to a great musician, and apparently, a clean human being. This is my "second tribute" to him, since I used to sing in a short-lived tribute band to Pearl jam here in Spain, and it was an honor to sing Mr Vedder´s songs in the 8-10 concerts we gave.
Oh,yes, the recipe. I used John Morrison´s head, movie punisher body with some dremeling and sanding, sculpted beard, and painted. Ed´s outfit is based on what he was wearing during the 2007 european tour, in which I attended a concert in Festimad, in Madrid. I´m posting a pic of that concert, and the poster you see behind the fig in some picture, I mede it myself with pics I took on the concert and the ticket.
