Snowbird Custom Action Figure

Custom #:4039
Name:Snowbird
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:princebrent
Date Added:September 12, 2007
Base Figure:Psylock
Height:6.00 inches
The base is a Psylocke figure. The head and cape came from the old 5" Alpha Flight Snowbird figure. The head took some modifying to fit on Psylocke's neck peg. I got the idea for this from seeing a similar custom done over at the Fwoosh. Unfortunately I can't remember the customizers name and he doesn't have an index of his figures otherwise I would give him the proper credit. Sorry dude! But thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks Dedi! I like to try and use up spare parts I have lying around. And I have some many of those old 5" figures it makes me wonder what I can use them for???
Ivorygleam -- Welcome fellow Canadian and thanks for the comments! I hope I can keep up those standards

Hi Punstarr,
No, the whole head including the headdress is from the old 5" Toybiz Snowbird figure. I had to drill the neck hole a little bigger to fit it on Psylockes neck peg, but the scale fits right in with the other figures.
The only sculpting I did was to repair her waist after I melted it! (long story )

Beautiful custom, man. Did you sculpt that headdress? If so, wow.

Hi Taddy and fastfreddie,
Thanks very much for the compliments! I really appreciate them.

one of the best snowbirds and cleanest ones I have ever seen...really love it...I need one of those bad, cause I am terrible at females and dread trying to do one when I go to do my alpha flight customs. incredible my friend and this one is beautiful!

Thanks for the comments guys!
Gee_Jay you could do this easily with your skills, and you probably wouldn't have melted her waist while doing so (paint covers up mistakes well, doesn't it? )
LWes - thanks my friend. Like I said, I can't take credit for the original idea but it is nice being able to re-use some parts from all those old 5" figures I've got sitting around in boxes. Now it's got me thinking, "What else can I use????"
LWes - Thursday, September 13, 2007
Awesome to use the old figure's parts, because it looks great!
