I used a movie human torch casted head from great casting artist Beth Benjamin (you can find her on FB), sculpted hair and painted.Head may seem a lil´small, but I chose it because of the facial expression. And doesn´t look that bad in person. The eyes were a pain to paint... On cap´s body, I sculpted zippers and missing straps on his boots, then gave him a full repaint. It is unlikely that I say this about my own work, but I´m totally digging this paint job. There are details that popped and I didn´t even know the figure had. Also I tried to paint the helmet screen accurate, which I think I accomplished. I am already working on a version 2 cap, since I got 2 extra caps and 2 extra casted heads (the other 2 will go to..you know where..for grabs). And just waiting for some wrestler´s arms to do Thor and then will finally have the whole team customized to my liking! Anyways, hope you like him, and I kind of rushed to post him today, well, here in Spain is 2 am of July 5th, but you know the 4th was a proper day to post this guy...happy 4th to all the good people from the US in this site!
The paint job really does make the details pop!!!
