I Just wanted an upgrade of the crap that toybiz gave us. I started with the legendary comic book heroes Judge Dredd, and just made him better. I used the arms, lower legs, belt, and head from the figure, and scrapped the torso. I used the DC Universe Classic original green lantern upper body, and Jonah Hex legs. Did a little sculpting on the neck and chest area. I swapped out all the parts, and made a custom torso adapter to attach the two halves using two bearings. I repainted the parts using model masters paints, black base with a light blue dry brushing. I used gold bare-metal foil on the helmet, badge, and belt-buckle. Finally I used a real chain from the neck to the badge. The result is a taller, bulkier, more bad-a@@ looking Judge Dredd that will look great next to the other figures in my collection. I was also able to keep all the articulation without it looking dumb like some of the other marvel legends type figure. Let me know what you think below.

Nice update.
That Dredd in LCBH really needed the help.
The body was all wrong. You really make it lots better by using a bigger body.

I saw the preview for the new movie. Looks like it will be totally different from the first film. I am kinda at odds as to whether I liked what I saw.

I wish the would make a second movie before Stalone kicks the bucket.

Uh, they HAVE made a second movie. It's called "Dredd," it's coming out in September, and it stars Karl Urban (Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, Doom, Chronicles of Riddick) as Judge Dredd. Thankfully, it seems they didn't let Sly "AH EHM DEH LAHW!!" Stallone anywhere near it.

Figure looks great, BTW!
