I've been waiting for an updated Iceman for a few years, but I doubt we'll ever get one... so I made my own. He's a simple recipe, using a Quicksilver body and a cast of the Bobby Drake head.

I wanted him to be barefoot, as he appears in the Wolverine and the X-Men title, but the MMA feet I wanted to use didn't work with Quicksilver's lower legs. I swapped them out for Forge's lower legs and popped the feet on there. I sculpted some ice chunks onto his lower legs, forearms and back. I also swapped out his left hand with Taskmaster's since I am not a fan of the "slap hand" that Quicksilver had.

I gave the whole thing a dark blue wash, then did a dry brush of light blue and another of white. I'm really happy with how Bobby turned out.

I really like the iced-up effect you achived. If I may make a friendly suggestion, a final coat of gloss varnish would enhance the wet/iced effect beautifully. I did it on my iced-up x2 iceman (you can check it out) and when I saw the results, I almost backed down on my comissioner. Can´t tell you how pleased he was! Now I have to make another for myself. Painting ice is superfun! great job allaround!
