so i had this Bucky figure, not the best thing ever, and i had no idea what to do with it, then i decided to make the new spider-man and figured why not try it? so i cut off his obnoxious ears and carved down his boots, gloves and the chest flap thing. then i looked a little closer at the figure and realized that when Hasbro molded him they centered his chest to the flap in the costume and that the center of his chest was moved over to the right. i can't have a spider-man with a huge right peck, so i carved that down too. and re-shaped it. i left the soles of his boots but smoothed some sculpey in to give him less of a heel. sculpted web shooters and carved in the suit details and symbols. i know that with spider-man everyone likes to take preexisting spider-man heads, but i don't like them it's almost like there's no face under them so i sculpted over bucky's face to make the mask. then i gave it some metallic blue paint and added the webbing over his costume then washed it over in more red. oh and yes i left the wrinkles in the costume because i notice in the movie that it would bunch and wrinkle showing it is not rubber and completely skin tight.
