So I got super luck this afternoon on my lunch break and ran across a John Blake right front and center at the local WallyWorld. I picked it up super quick and headed to the register. Having a LITTLE more time I swung by the house and set up a quick mold of the head so it would be cured when I got home from Job #2.

So I got home and got right to it. I cast probably 6 heads before I got a perfect cast and immediately got to chopping. The figure features a screen approximate cape secured into the body as always and a custom cast and painted (sharpie) John Blake head.

Also across the chest I just went with as simple a shape as I could to achieve the Nightwing "swoosh". I figured it would just be a matter of time before re-imaginings of this would be popping up and I couldn't resist being the first.

Thanks for looking!!!

What??? How??? You beat me to it! Darn it! Can you cast me one by any chance? I was going to do the same thing, but if I can get a cast from you, then I don't have to use the one Blake head I have.

A cast. Sorry. I got too excited.
GeekSummit - Wednesday, July 25, 2012
Looks like I'll have to make a few... Use on the lookout thought the standard avenues.
Mint Condition Customs - Wednesday, July 25, 2012
Where will you have them available?
GeekSummit - Wednesday, July 25, 2012
Where everybody gets rid of customs... Ahem... I'm not allowed to mention it here I don't think.
Mint Condition Customs - Wednesday, July 25, 2012
So you'll have John Blake head casts available on...the place...where people put things. Starts with a little "e"....next letter a big "B"...

Yup... Sounds like a plan to me... Good talk.
Mint Condition Customs - Thursday, July 26, 2012
How will I know when these will go up though?
GeekSummit - Thursday, July 26, 2012
I would say look for this figure to be posted and heads should follow.
Mint Condition Customs - Thursday, July 26, 2012
Thanks man. sent you a message on...the place.
Helix326 - Wednesday, July 25, 2012
Would you be able to make me a mold of the John Blake Movie Masters head?
GeekSummit - Wednesday, July 25, 2012
A cast or a mold? The cast is the physical piece seen here. The mold is the rubber structure for making these casts.

JeddTheJedi - Wednesday, July 25, 2012
Dang you beat me to it! I'm going to post my own version right about now. The head does look so much better masked.
GeekSummit - Wednesday, July 25, 2012
Yeah, it does take a little bit of a turn into Schumachery after a point but I thought it was a fitting custom to fit in as a Concept that we will probably NEVER see. I hate that I couldn't get better shots of this guy. Lighting was fighting me hard with all that black and so little white.
