Another custom I've returned to in order to fix somewhat. This was one of my very fist customs over two years ago - I wanted to have a Batman figure with a removable cowl, and didn't have a Movie Masters unmasked Batman. The base figure was a The Dark Knight basic 5 inch figure, which I was really excited to get in 2008 when the film came out, and actually is a good figure with half-decent articulation and a great sculpt, if not quite basic paint. The head was from a Bruce to Batman figure, and the cowl was from the same figure, just cut away from the slip-over torso. This being an early misadventure in customdom, I did everything wrong, and ended up gluing the head to the neck, removing all head/neck articulation, messing up the chin and in the end, the neck was still way too long. I wasn't able to save the lack of articulation, but I could bring the neck down some, fix the chin and do a repaint of the armour to make it look less plasticky. The last picture shows the evolution of this from the original figure, to Bat-Giraffe-Man, to this one.
