So I got back from watching tdkr and wow! Just an all round excellent movie, and I loved how they did bane. I know some people are not happy with the nolan bane or the lack of venom, but I actually really like this costume. A huge, classic, mexican wrestler mask dude just would not have fit into the nolan-verse. But enough about that, onto the figure....
I started with an urban legends punisher, who sports a big open mouth, which worked in my favor as it gave a lot of room to sculpt the mask. I then shaved down all of his hair so he was bald. I sculpted his vest straps and so on...
I would have kept his boots but I had used them for another custom so I just gave him the lower legs from an ML6 punisher. I sculpted the details on his glove thingy and gave him a full paintjob.
He is just about in scale with movie masters, maybe a tiny bit tall.
