well as we all know the first marvel universe spider-man was a let down to most people. i liked the figure but the legs never sat well with me. i couldn't put my finger on it till about a week ago when i realized they were out of proportion. the thighs were way longer than the lower legs and his feet were tiny because they decided to rightly proportion them to the lower legs. well after knowing this the legs had to go. i switched them with a scarlet spider's legs because of their swivel thigh, but then the arms were bothering me. i saw someone use a showdown spider-man's arms for the double hinge elbow. genius, i ran into problems though. i didn't have the showdown spider-man, so my poor showdown mr. fantastic gave up his wonderful arms. i had to splice their biceps together and thin down the new arms to make it work but it was worth it, hinge wrists, swivel gloves, and double hinge elbows. one paint job and a new head later he was done. i then got the new amazing spider-man, black-washed his red, and am probably going to paint his eyes gold. i am a little disapointed in its flexibility. most of which can be resolved when i get a drill tool. he just needs swivel calves. they both have 27 POA just in different places
