Devilman: Dante Custom Action Figure

The Dante figure was offered in the Fewture Devilman series as a build-a-figure when all ten bonus pieces were completed. With this custom, only the head piece came from the original set. Used parts from a Rhino Alien for extra armor on the body of the Venom Symbiote. Blacker than black rabbit fur, bought from a textile store, was glued around the head and arms, trimmed with shears.
As one of the core characters in the Devilman series, Dante as a completed figure was very expensive to acquire and even more difficult to get all the pieces. Some of the figures that contained its parts were hard to find or just didn't want. The original version came in black, reptilian blue, and ToysRus exclusive silver. Painted in gloss acrylic, this custom has been renamed the "Black Plague" variant.
