The Ninja Man-Bat figure from the Batman and Son line is excellent, but for me it was a similar case to that Yellow Lantern Scarecrow - I'd much rather a regular version of the character than one specific to the storyline. So a while back I stripped off the bandoliers, belts and snatched away his katanas - all of which have proven to be very useful as fodder. So I was left with something closer to a traditional Man-Bat, and did it up in a very splotchy paint job and just left it like that for a while. I finally came across that coveted LOTDK Man-Bat figure (the one with the huge wings) and that kinda inspired me to properly finish this guy up. Using a strip of plastic from the fodder bin, I created a regular belt, painting on the belt loops and buckles. A full repaint apart from the inside of his wings - including dirty grey jeans, a richer brown for the leathery wings, and a reworking of the eyes and teeth. Now, he's good to go flying on leather wings!
