The original piece was a towering 1/6 scale Garage Kit done by none other than Nirasawa. It was a very popular model kit that kicked off the release of the Fewture Devilman action figure line. Nirasawa had just seen an Iggy Pop concert and got the idea to use Iggy's physique to design the sculpture.
For this custom version, the top half of the McFarlane Vampire figure was attached to the lower torso of an Akira Fudo figure. The head came from an anime version of Devilman and his ears, hands and body have been re-sculpted to resemble the pose of the original sculpture. It's painted in acrylic and his accessories came from random parts. Considered more a cartoon version, it's been renamed the "Sub-zero Emotion" variant.
