Hey Realmers!

I present Teenage Mutant Lantern Turtle Donatello.

This little dude was a lot of fun to repaint. I've being seeing a lot of awesome Nick TMNT repaints on the Realm by fellow Realmers like Shinobitron, Magnum PI, davejuicebox, dbocustoms, Lalam, Jarred706, TombstonePiledrive, Cherndawg & hunterknightcustoms.
They've all served as inspiration to get this little dude done.

Painted the staff to look like a construct. Added a few water-slide decals on Donnie and his lantern. Found a translucent blue sword from by fodder weapons bag and painted it with Tamiya Clear Yellow to give it a green, translucent look. Added a green rhinestone for his GL ring. Painted the figure using Model Masters and Vallejo acrylic paints. Gave the figure a clear coat.

Completed September 20, 2012.

Awesome man!! The white detailing looks fantastic as do the logos. I'm doing a GL TMNT as well as Thundercats, Transformers, 80 etc figures. You might want to snag some clear acrylic drink stirrers and make Donny a construct staff.
