Darkseid obliviates. There's nothing else, that's what he does best. He's not gonna heist an ice store, or tip over Aunt May's favorite vase. He wants to swallow entire things inside of him and into his void, so had to find the largest ML BAF Apocalypse figure out there and make him into one big wreckage. Tried to erase traces of Apoc by first removing the neck brace apparatus. Completely resculpted the head, detailed the face and mouth. Sculpt work was done on the arms & throughout the body. The right hand has been modified, fingers extended to seize the sphere. Couldn't effectually remove the A without maybe damaging articulation in the waist, so instead built his belt over top of it with blister material, painted acrylic with silver. Brush apps, 4 coats, applied sealant. Figure retains same articulation.
Chose the styrofoam planet obviously for its spherical shape and also light weight (helps with shipping/this figs big enough!). And his other hand is grabbing for the Worcestershire sauce as he's having Superman for al A carte. Thanks for looking at this!
