I was very glad to see an update to young Anakin figure, even if the update didn't not include any new articulation (besides the ball-joint head)...however, i found the paint job lacking on that figure. The weathering looked kind of random, and that made it harder to see the details of the sculpt.
I went to work by repainting the tunic a brighter yellow-yellow ochre, and then a gray wash over that. I kept the original paintjob on the forearm wrappings ...the legs were given a gray wash as well, and then some dry brushing to highlight the details.
The hair was the worst part of the factory paint job. I made it look more realistic by using a multilayering technique.
