Hello everyone,
Last weekend I picked up a couple of WWE elite figures from Big Lots for some fodder. So I thought I would use an WWE Ultimate Warrior that I bought to make a bigger Drax. I wasn't really pleased with ROML Drax figure that we got from Hasbro. I felt he needed to be more buff. It ended up being a pretty easy custom comparatively speaking. I had extra ROML Drax parts left over from my Ghost Rider body swap. The forearms and lower legs worked without any modifications, but I did have to Dremel/drill out the head to fit the Ultimate Warrior neck peg. After that all that was left was his paint job, in which I went a little darker with the skin tone more like his first appearance in this body. I really like how he turned out, and I hope you all like him as well.

Now why couldn't Hasbro offer us something more menacing and beefed up like this instead of reusing something that they would have for nick fury or the punisher? Two guys who are definitely smaller than drax!
Nice work on the paints and particularly the red stripes. This is how drax should of looked.

They really could have with the new Hyperion/Sentry body. I think they even said that they wish they could have used that body for Drax. Oh and thank you I really enjoyed painting this figure. I sketched out the stripes to plan them out before painting them on. I like these quick fun customs and the WWE elite bodies work out so well for Marvel customs.

this is a great point hasbro really need to think before choosing their molds for figures they need to think if we are choosing say the FO punisher mold for drax they need to think ok that would make him the same size as punny and a shield agent? which is obviously completley wrong they need to give the brother some bigger guns!

Yeah Hasbro even thinks they made a mistake, and at the SDCC said that wish they had used the new large male/Sentry body for Drax.
