Hello realmers, hope you're enjoying this sunday night :)

This is not the first time I try to create a Batman, but this is the first time I'm totally satisfied on the result :)

As you can see it's not based on a specific design, I took inspiration from other great figures and drawings. The head looks so much like Burton's Batman (IMHO) and believe me, it wasn't intentional, although I feel great about it because I love that design.

Now on the figure. The body came from a Mattel WWE David Smith Elite Figure. The head came from a Havoc Unleashed Batista figure on which the Batman mask was totally sculpted over with epoxy clay. All was painted with acrylic paints and sealed with a matte coat. BTW, the cape is made of fabric.

Thank you so much for watching, and hope you have an excellent start of the week :)

I'll bet this was the sort of Batman they were expecting to see in the 80's version...why I say that is because your figure is like a what if he wore tights in of molded rubber ... that's how realistic this figure looks and it deserves well notice and complaints alike WHY TO GO on this

That head is outstanding, awesome job with this. Like bet1 said, this does have the Dead End feel to it. I really, really like this.

Hey, I'm so glad that you like it, thank you very much. Although the Dead End feeling came with no intention I'm happy with that, I think is a lucky coincidence.

Hey you are totally right, he looks like that Batman, and agree with you, Dead End is an amazing piece, I love how Batman is depicted with no armor, no super ultra mega high tech weapons only the batarangs and the hook gun and a pair of powerful fists, devastating legs and lots of rage. Thank you very much

What cool & refreshing custom of Bats!
I Love the way he looks! The sculpted mask does look Burton-ish! You did a bang up job of sculpting it!
I'm always looking forward to seeing what next customs you'll come up with using wrestling figs as a base, brother...they always have a unique, real-life quality to them.
I love the photos, by the way.

Hey brother, I'm so glad you like this Batman, I really like it too.

Let me tell you something; wrestling figures are expensive in México, the prices are in $15 dlls. - $22 dlls. for the basic figures, but in the last three to four years always happens that in january-february the stores cut the prices so you can find Elite figures (fully articulated) in $7 or $8 dlls. each, and thats when I can restock my fodder box XD. By the way, the Burtonish look came with no intention . Thanks again brother
