Hi guys, haven't posted in a while. Been tied down with commissions and decided to take a break for something easy. This guy just screamed Iron Man. An obvious similarity by Disney.
Pretty simple recipe. He is put together by screws on his back side, so dis-assembly for painting was fairly easy. He was airbrushed and finished by hand. The mask was sculpted and is removable. His gun has a firing pump action. Think I may do Halo version next. Thanks for looking and as always comments are always welcomed.

Thanks PackRat! The base is so versatile in the armored suit area. So many possibilities! I'm sure you'll kill it bro!

Great work. What kind of articulation does the base figure have? I'm in need of hulking robotic armored limbs (for toys, not myself!) - and can't figure out where/what kind of joints the Wreck-It Ralph figure has.
RedRebelCustoms - Wednesday, October 17, 2012
The articulation is pretty good. I count about 20 points. The arms, feet, accessories are a good size. The thighs are a tad short though unless your doing a regular sized character. Thanks Blaynescott!

Thanks bro! I have always loved your take on the big guys. I never did figure out how to navigate that deviantart group though. lol

I was looking at the other version of this and thought of doing a "cartoony hulk" with it. This is awesome man!
RedRebelCustoms - Tuesday, October 16, 2012
Thanks Gee Jay! Good to see you're back in full effect bro! The Hulk would be cool too. I wrather like the huge articulated hands on the big one but the price is way too much.

Pure awesomeness! This turned out great! I like how this concept worked out! The parts you made and the gritty paints look wicked! Nice work sir!
RedRebelCustoms - Monday, October 15, 2012
Thanks Pulpy! I was pretty happy with how he turned out given I'm used to spending ridiculous amounts of time on customs.

RedRebelCustoms - Monday, October 15, 2012

THIS IS SO COOL!!!
I just saw a pic of the original figure....you did an awesome job of giving him that IronMan look!
RedRebelCustoms - Monday, October 15, 2012
Thanks NC! How did you find a pic? I searched like 40 google pages because I forgot to take one. I did see a small variant pic with no helmet though.
NeCrollector - Tuesday, October 16, 2012
I think that's the same one I saw (his armor was a metallic black). I googled 'wreck-it ralph figure' and clicked on 'images'. 40 or 50 images down, there he was.
RedRebelCustoms - Wednesday, October 17, 2012
Yep he was a flat black. The only pic I saw though was the one variant without a helmet and the pic was tiny so when I blew it up it became blurry!

Awesome!!
