Hello There. Hope you like my stab at making The Punisher from the 1989 film. The body is a NECA T2 which works out nice since they both wore basically the same motorcycle outfit. The head is from a wrestling figure ironically named Dolph. Scavenged parts from Marvel Legends Series 6 Punisher, the leg holster, knife on the shoulder strap(like on the poster) ammo belts(I glued one on the leg holster itself). Guns come from various figures and I thought an '80s Punisher should sport 2 Uzis. Added a larger waste belt and used a guitar strap from a figure that runs from the belt, over the shoulder, and down the back to add a couple more guns. For the skull I decided to use the original grey colour on the shirt and paint the rest black to give it a subtle look because he didn't have it in the movie. Let me know what you think and by the way he still talks to God sometimes......and is still waiting for an answer.

Great custom work. Original as it is unexpected! You know? You made me think about that movie again. I bet that if the re-release it with a CGI-ed skull added to his outfits it would be loved by everyone now.

Thank you. I think the movie and Dolph are very under-rated!!!!

Diamond Select is releasing an Expendables figure next month with Dolph Lundgren's likeness. Also I believe NECA has an Ivan Drago figure which would loan itself to an even much closer likeness to Lundgren's Punisher. Great job and nice to see some love for the first Punisher movie.

I enjoy all 3 movies. I might swap heads but I'm not sure at this point. I like the porportions and I think it actually has a good likeness. Probably these poor old eyes of mine....Thank you for your comment.

Nicce to see someone do Dolph's Punisher. I like your take on the skull, very well done. You gonna get the neca Ivan Drago and use the head from that for a more acurate face?

I was thinking of doing that. Either that or make a Universal Soldier. I'd love to take a shot at the making the ear necklace!!! Thanks for the feedback.

awesome! thought it gets a bad rap, I actually enjoyed this movie when it came out, I still get a chuckle at the yakuza line about running the japanese underworld when the italians were having inappropriate relations with sheep on the slopes of italy, even though I'm 2/3s italian this looks really good, great work!

Thank you!!! It was/is a cool movie. Some of lines were priceless like when the Yakuza are torturing him and ask him who sent you? He answers Batman.

I think you did a great job! Honestly I think you should have skipped the skull on the shirt just to keep it movie accurate. All us comic nerds know who this guy is without the skull! Still very nicely done!

Yah the skull was a tough one but in the end I decided to take some artistic licence and tried to make it as subtle as possible. Thanks for the comment.
