Cobra Crimson Shadow Guard Custom Action Figure

The Dollar General exclusive GI Joes that were released earlier this year, in my opinion have to be one of the most random (but very welcome) toy releases this year. The figures are simple, but look great and they all lend themselves pretty well to customs because of that. The one that really caught my eye was the black suited cobra commander, who essentially uses the body of a Crimson Guard Trooper. To make the four of the troopers, I used four Extreme condition pack CG Trooper heads/helmets and repainted them, on one of the troops however, his helmet isn't removable (ran out of CG/Fred heads), but with a few accessories, you have the option to display him as either a Crimson Shadow Guardsman, or as a custom Cobra Commander! This was a fun set to do, but due to the hard to find nature of these figures it was a pain trying to procure five of them to pull it off.
