Sylana was a true Green Lantern. She considered the Corps to be her life and followed her orders to the letter. Her missions are well documented in the Book of Oa. Salaak himself is known to have said "Green Lantern Sylana is a dedicated and reliable member of the Green Lantern Corps".

On her last documented mission, Sylana was dispatched to divert a rogue asteroid. The Guardians feared this asteroid might wonder into an inhabited star system and put sentient life in danger. They ordered Salaak to dispatch a veteran Lantern to handle this. Sylana was chosen for the job.

Approaching the asteroid, the Green Lantern felt uneasy. However, she failed to speak of her uneasiness when she contacted Salaak to report sighting the asteroid. Sylana approached with caution but before she could divert the asteroid she was attacked by an unknown number of enemies. Little is known about what exactly happened to Green Lantern Sylana. Her last contact with anyone was a distress call to Oa asking for immediate backup.

While many believe her to be dead, Salaak is quick to remind them that her ring never returned to Oa or found a replacement Lantern. Therefore, Green Lantern Sylana's status is listed as missing in action.

Note: The second picture was an attempt at making her look like she was flying. I put a string around her hanging from the ceiling and took pictures. Then used MS Paint to edit out the string. I think it turned out well.

Base Figure: DC Universe Classics Katma Tui
Head: Marvel Legends Madame Hydra Variant. Wave 2 Marvel's Madames. The neck hole was bigger so I had to add sculpey to get it to fit. But basically her hair keeps it level on her shoulders and it can't really move much. The hair has streaks of green in it and her lips were green. So this was an ideal head for a female GL.

Final Thoughts: This is my first female custom. I must say I am not fond of how skinny DC female figures are. This is a simple head swap so it isn't anything fancy. Until they make some better female base figures I am not likely to do many more.

So that's what she will look like. I was toying with the Idea of doing the some thing when I got time. But you bet me to it.It was a toss up between her and Hope Summer. You did a great job. Ilove it

She actually looks very good. She won't stand up to save her life but that's just the poor make of the base figure.

I agree, the Madame Hydra head is perfect to create a concept Green Lantern member. Love the backstory, brother!

Oh you must be new to FigureRealm or at least new to my customs. Everyone who views my work knows I try to give my characters original background stories. In fact I'd say a lot of people who like my work like it a lot because I do include a little bit of reading material. So to answer your question, no she is not a real Green Lantern.
