Name:Johnny Blaze
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:scarecrow studios
Date Added:November 1, 2012
Base Figure:mr terrific & drax
Height:6.00 inches
i actually finished customs for both johnny blaze and dan ketch(in their looks from jason aarons "last stand of the spirits of vengeance") about a week ago, but when i went to photograph them i decided they weren't done til i got them bikes too. im still waiting on a slow seller to send me danny's bike, but i got johnny's so i figured id post him first. you can see danny included in the group pick, ill post him too once his bike gets here and i get it repainted too.

johnny's a dcuc mr terrific from the waist up and a drax from the waist down, 2pk clint barton head and dcuc mothman hands. sculpted longer hair and beard on to head, filled back hole in jacket and sculpted t-shirt wrinkles. then total repaint. the bike is a totally repainted maisto ducati monster 1100.

thanks for looking and all comments are greatly appreciated.

Dude Epic nice facial expression, Whats the name of that bike I'm looking for one similar for a (Jason Todd Red Hood build). Thanks can't wait to see whats next...

thanks man. the bike is made by maisto. its a ducati monster 1100. they make both an 696 and 1100 versions of the ducati monster and they come in red and black. I got mine off ebay but theres online stores that carry them too. just search 1/12 scale motorcycles cause theres a couple companies that make this scale bikes and in all sorts of different styles. I highly suggest repainting the bikes though, or atleast the engine parts if you like the rest of the finish.

As much as I needed to comment on this I couldn't think of anything new to say. The comments made nail your work almost as well as the work nails the essence of the characters.
Every time your stuff manages to be even better mate.

ThIs is CRAZY!!! But totally awesome!!!
That look in his eyes is 'genius'!
scarecrow studios - Sunday, November 4, 2012
thanks necro. I took a brush I had with stiff bristles and cut it down to a single bristle to get them that sharp. I thought crazy was an important feature to a johnny blaze figure.

What happens when you cross Chuck Norris with Charles Manson? THIS happens! And it is totally awesome. Good call on waiting for the bike. As great as your paints are on the figure, the bike nails it. Beautiful!
scarecrow studios - Sunday, November 4, 2012
thanks terry, im glad I waited for the bike too, and glad I decided to take the time to repaint the bike. it came out so much better than the original flat grey plastic engine parts looked. im glad you like it.
