Somehow I ended up being "the guy" for making Death Egg Robots. This figure is pretty much just like my first death egg robot, pokeball head, bionicle joint moving parts in the arms and legs, and candy ball body. There ARE some significant differences though, the cockpit is made from a Kool Aid container instead of a G1 Bionicle tube, and the legs are scratch built out of foam board and craft foam, with a heroics ball used for the kneecaps. This makes the toy look more accurate to its appearance in the comic book, and adds some sweet ankle rockers for more dynamic poses. It also has a better neck swivel since it takes 2 full rotations to unscrew the head instead of just a quarter turn like my first one.
I, for one, think of this as a masterpiece! Awesome job!
