I was working on a lot of other projects through the week and encountering one problem or another. I actually wanted to do more of the Winter Guard, but couldn't decide on anyone to make. Ursa Major would be a wonderful project, but I'm still learning sculpt. Well, toward the end of the week I came across this guy. Haven't ever looked at much in Valiant, but some of the characters seem especially interesting. I looked up some images, but couldn't find any good shots of any good design. He seemed to change a lot. Then I read that he was created to be the perfect soldier for every mission. And the various designs made sense, then. So, I looked up some customs and noticed a few used Drax. ML size, though. I had an MU Drax, so I decided to try the simplicity used in those customs. Switched the hands out for Whiplash, which fit surprisingly well, and painted the emblem on his chest. Most customs had it fixed perfectly, but most of the images I found had it bleeding a little. Like the reference picture I included here. So, I made it more imperfect. Yeah, that actually was intentional. And now I've taken the pictures, posted it up, and I'm not sure. I tried to fix up a gun harness for him, but the body was too bulky for any I had. Was gonna attach a sheath to it. So I'm not sure. Maybe I did use too bulky of a body. Or it's my ignorance of the character catching up to me. Can't really say. Opinions?
