Since I was doing Mettle, I decided to do Hazmat as well. Even though she is most yellow, my most hated color.
I started with a Dcuc female, I can't recall which at this point, and sprayed the whole thing a base white. Then I inked the whole thing yellow and used a fine brush to line in the black pattern. Then after I messed that up, I retouched everything up.
The majority of the work on this custom went into the head. I used a DCD Powergirl as the face and shaved most of the rest off. Then I sculpted on the first layer of the helmet and went about finding a good material to use for the clear section of the helmet. After trying a few materials that didn't work out I discovered the plastic eggs from coin machines at the grocery store work perfectly. After I attached the plastic section I sculpted the rest of the helmet on and painted it. ...then I had to take it apart because I forgot to paint the face before I sealed it in, lol. After I got the face painted I re-sculpted and repainted the head.
