Might I ask - which line of Gatch figures are you getting the helmets from?
Iron Will - Saturday, December 8, 2012
Several. I basically went on ebay and ordered every version I could find (roughly 5 total) from Japan that looked to be about the right scale and used the best version for each one. Gashapon is definitely one of the lines used, but couldn't say for sure what each was as I just chopped the parts down when I got them and didn't necessarily pay attention to what parts I used from what line. This is one of those sets I wanted to get right for my personal collection so I spent a little more on parts than I normally would. Sorry I couldn't be more specific but I hope that helps a little.

Ahh! I was waiting to see how you pulled her off. Excellent! She's my favorite heroine. Which is why I had to do her and post a few years back and still have to do the rest of the team. You've inspired me to get back on them. Thanks. Any chance you'll do some of Zoltar's crazy looking Generals?

I rewatched the Gatchaman series recently and had a few ideas for a couple of them!!

Cool! Can't wait. I thought about the guy that commanded the turtle. But as you can see I've only gotten Princess done and posted in 3 years with parts for the others sitting in my projects bin. lol. Thanks for keeping the BOP/Gatchaman spirit alive!

l love this! Great work and fantastic paint job! What kind of paint did you use? I am having problems.

Thanks! I typically prime all my customs with a very light coat of Krylon Flat White Spray, then use Reaper (primarily), Citadel and or Model Color AV. For any black coats or white touch-ups I use Americana. For the whites on my customs I go heavier with the Krylon spray and cut the design or spaces with the other colors of the customs. Hope that helps!
