James Darnell was part of Simon Utrecht's team to replicate the Fantastic Four's cosmic radiation exposure. Calling himself X-Ray, he and the U-Foes have embarked on a criminal career and have clashed with the Hulk.
My third completed U-Foe. Originally, I planned on using a Black Spider-Man for the base body, since I already used Iceman to make Vector. I came across a picture of the new Marvel Universe Radioactive Man, and I knew a clear body was the way to go! So I went with the XMC Iceman body and ML Iceman head. I modified the hands slightly, and stripped all the paint off. I cracked open the chest and glued in some small black balls for the energy effect. Unfortunately, they can't be seen, so I ended up painting them on. Base paint was clear red, with pink and purple lines added, then painted over again with clear red. I wanted a more modern-style X-Ray, with a nose (although for you old-school fans, the nose is barely visible)and without the Human Torch style black lines.
