Validus of the Fatal Five Custom Action Figure

This was actually the figure that started me on this set again. If you look at some of my old work, you can see my versions of Validus, Mano, Persuader and Tharok from about 3 years ago that were commissioned from a former client. We got a BAF version of Validus in DCUC, but he was a little undersized and we never saw any of his teammates or got a hint that they were on the way. Such a shame considering how cool a team they are. My first Validus used a 12 inch Icons Venom, but he was too muscled up for me this time, so i went with an old school Toy Biz 12 inch venom i got for a decent price. I re-sculpted the hand to have 3 fingers, added claws to his feet and the tubes to his arms. I used the original BAF head and there you go. You can see he is much taller than the BAF one in the second picture.
