So I decided to make Tim Drake progress to Red Robin in my Earth-29 story arc, so of course i need a figure for that! This time around I made him a mix of all the features I have liked from his different suits over the years til present. I'm extremely happy with the way it turned out.

Base: Robin DCUC YJ. Sculpted down the arms, thighs, abs, and under the arms to give his body the right proportions; sculpted off the buckles entirely; when thinning down the arms, I sculpted so that he has elbow pads.

Head: Tim Drake head from Batman and Son. Sculpted down jawline and sculpted mask. Sculpted up a neck extension for his head to fit good and still retain articulation.

Cape: Robin DCUC. Increased the depth of the scallops.

Arm Straps: Cut from GI Joe harness.

Belt: Robin from that new goofy looking Batman figure line. Not sure what the buckle came from.

Glove armor: Cut from a random Spiderman armor.

Leg Pouches: Large came from YJ Red Arrow; small from GI Joe harness.

Lower Legs: DCUC Tim Drake Robin. Sculpted down aroung the knees to give him small knee pads.

Feet: used GI Joe harness pads to give a little armor on the top of his foot; used hot glue to sculpt thicker soles; carved out niches at his big toes because I always liked that he wore jika-tabi boots.

Accessories: Bo staff and batarangs are from YJ Robin, as is the grapple launcher, which I cut off the end and added the end of some cannon part from a Transformer.

Well, hope you like it. As always, I welcome any suggestions or critique.

Later, Realmers

Really great construction. very nice. You might wanna try painting a thin brown line on his mouth between the lips to identify where the mouth is - otherwise it kinda looks like the mouth isn''t there. I was surprised what a big difference that makes when I started doiong this.
